Gifting Memories to Bereaved Children

A practical workshop on preserving stories and memories

A free to attend, 3-hour workshop
for parents and care-givers of bereaved children.

  • This practical, supportive workshop focuses on memory preservation for bereaved children, and will make memory collection feel possible and achievable, even when life is busy and grief feels heavy.

  • It will explore why memories matter, and the role you can play in actively gathering, preserving and passing them on.

  • You’ll be guided through simple, realistic ways to collect memories and create a lasting record that a child can return to at different stages of their life.

  • The session will offer clear guidance, examples, and time for reflection, without any pressure to share personal experiences.

  • By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with practical ideas you can act on straight away, and the reassurance that important stories won’t be lost with time.

  • The aim is to help families protect what matters, so children have something solid to hold onto as they grow.

  • This is not a grief workshop or a therapeutic session. It is about safeguarding memories — thoughtfully, practically, and with care.

  • See below to register your interest in attending.

The free workshop is open to anyone supporting a bereaved child, regardless of how long ago or recently the bereavement took place.

The goal is to equip you with new ways to help them remember mummy or daddy.
