Gifting Memories to Bereaved Children
A practical workshop on preserving stories and memories
A free to attend, 3-hour workshop
for parents and care-givers of bereaved children.
This practical, supportive workshop focuses on memory preservation for bereaved children, and will make memory collection feel possible and achievable, even when life is busy and grief feels heavy.
It will explore why memories matter, and the role you can play in actively gathering, preserving and passing them on.
You’ll be guided through simple, realistic ways to collect memories and create a lasting record that a child can return to at different stages of their life.
The session will offer clear guidance, examples, and time for reflection, without any pressure to share personal experiences.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with practical ideas you can act on straight away, and the reassurance that important stories won’t be lost with time.
The aim is to help families protect what matters, so children have something solid to hold onto as they grow.
This is not a grief workshop or a therapeutic session. It is about safeguarding memories — thoughtfully, practically, and with care.
See below to register your interest in attending.
The free workshop is open to anyone supporting a bereaved child, regardless of how long ago or recently the bereavement took place.
The goal is to equip you with new ways to help them remember mummy or daddy.
